It’s been 3 years since discovering, the affair. The same girl who said, “I love you. You’re my best friend.”, was committing the ultimate betrayal during that same exact time period. This was the person who broke an entire family.
Still today, it’s the most horrific scenario and betrayal a person can go through. Now, is it nice to be the one sitting here 3 years later with her integrity and self-respect in tact? Absolutely! Is it nice to know that she is now the one being fooled? Absolutely! However, it’s truly disturbing to know she flaunts her “affair” all over social media, for all of the children involved to see. When you google her name, you not only see the two of us together, but you also see the two of them together, on the same line. And it’s sad who I found that out from.
Children should grow up knowing about the importance of love, commitment and friendship. It’s unfortunate how disposable marriage seems to be today. And, what’s even more sad, is that our children are growing up seeing the lack of values demonstrated right in front of them.
While browsing Pinterest today, I came across a pin labeled, “Things I wish I could say to her.” Well, seeing that title, I of course not only knew who the “her” was intended for, but I also had to click on the link within the pin. All I can say is, WOW, I couldn’t have said it better myself!
It’s a “must-read” for anyone who has been cheated on, or is, “the other woman”. It hits the nail right on the head with the, real truth.
