Time is such a mystery. Sometimes it feels as if it’s standing still. Other times, it’s like you blink and a lifetime has passed by. One day I’m crying over the unexpected pregnancy of my baby girl (let me elaborate – she was my 4th and was conceived 6 months after my husband had a vasectomy). Yes, you read that right – she was not only a HUGE surprise, but a blessing and angel wrapped up in one, tiny, cute, pink, bundle, of love package.
If you read some of my previous posts, you would know that for the past 18 months, I’ve been going through a very difficult divorce that no one ever saw coming. So, having 3 boys already, you can imagine how special it was when I gave birth to Reese Emerson Gold on February 29, 2012. She’s what I refer to as my “miracle” baby. She’s a vasectomy baby, leap year baby and weighed 6lbs. 15oz, which is my parent’s wedding anniversary and the lottery numbers my dad always plays. Yes, a true miracle.
Just a few weeks ago, I invited some of my closest girlfriends over to celebrate Reese’s 2-year-old birthday. Thanks to my pinterest addiction and ideas of those creative “pinners” out there, Reese’s birthday really was, “tutu cute”!
Another year gone by . . . another milestone . . . another year stronger . . . and another year I count the many little blessings in my life.
