Parenthood is certainly a stressful job, isn’t it? We are blessed with these little people and are given no instruction manual with them. On top of that, each of these little people are made up of many different qualities and characteristics from all the branches that make up our family tree.
And when you think about all the unique “branches” there are, it can be quite a scary thought.
I am a girl. And, although I am as girly as they come, I have little 3 boys that I am determined to raise in to grown, respectable men. Yes, I’m a girl. But, I have a dad, a brother, nephews, cousins, as well, as have had grandfathers and past relationships that have created stepping stones to learn from . . .
Always have a big heart. Reach out to others in times of need and expect nothing in return. (a quality all the “MEN” in my life have)
While staying strong, always have a tender heart and sympathetic ear.
Be proud of what you believe in and accomplish in life.
Cry and show emotion without hesitation.
Always make family #1
You are never to old to roller skate, paint, raise children on your own in to remarkable adults or do anything else you truly enjoy doing. (both of my grandfathers proved that statement well)
Fight for what you believe in.
Be kind – especially to those who need it the most.
Love the one your with. The grass is NOT greener.
Little things mean a lot. Keep doing the little things.
Sometimes the truth is hard and hurts. Being caught in a lie is 10 times worse. Keep telling the truth.
Lead by example.
